Media and communications professional with working experience and academic background in media, PR and internal communications. Worked for various media outlets and corporations in Bulgaria and the USA.
Being with Cargill for more than 3 years, I adopted my professional ethics to communicate with 150 000+ multicultural employees audience, stakeholders and serve the company’s mission and vision. I believe that a well communicated messages can get people involved in a common goal, to feel welcomed in an inclusive community where they can be their-selves. Together with HR, I lead these efforts by crafting Cargill’s internal/external communications strategies/campaigns in the field of employer branding, corporate branding, employee engagement.
My journalistic background is in broadcasting and writing. During my stay in the USA I did freelancing work at the New York Family Magazine where I covered education and parenting topics. My articles are republished in QNS and AM New York. Additionally, I covered the human rights (in Eastern Europe) for the Borgen Project Foundation.
My academics gives me a solid background to write on a variety of topics, research them in-depth, and provide the reader with original content.
I did my undergraduate studies in European Politics at Sofia University and worked in a local TV station in Bulgaria.
I’m a Fulbright Scholar and a Full-Scholarship Awardee at Fordham University in New York, pursuing my MA in Public Media.
I am originally from Bulgaria, an Eastern European country on the shore of the Black Sea.
